Family Owned & Operated

As a family owned and operated business, we appreciate when others have similar values. Copeland started in the early 1970s as a one-man operation in East Corinth, VT, where they made wood products such as cider presses from natural hardwood. From there, they expanded to handmade kitchen and Adirondack-style porch furniture. Now, the company has grown into an enterprise that is embedded in their local community providing a fulfilling work environment to many men and women in the community.

Eco-Friendly Production

Copeland uses sustainably harvested hardwoods from the American Northern Forest only 500 miles from their production factory. This close proximity means far less carbon dioxide emitted through transportation. Furthermore, the American Hardwoods used by Copeland are derived from legal and well-maintained forests that our considered low risk. Their factory is also among the lowest for environmental impact. And, they re constantly working to make it better by lowering packaging waste and wood waste from manufacturing.
